Fez Terra Cotta is a natural, unglazed terracotta trim tile handmade in Fez, Morocco. The finish is raw and earthy, showing the full character of the clay beneath. It brings warmth and texture to floors, fireplaces, patios, and accent features without the reflectivity of a glaze.
The FT-2 is a small format trim tile (2.5 x 5 cm / approximately 1 x 2 in), used to finish edges, transitions, and borders. It bridges the gap between the last row of field tile and a wall, counter, or surface. It pairs naturally with Fez Terra Cotta in Four x Four or Two x Six bejmat for a complete installation.
Because this tile is unglazed, it should be sealed before grouting and use. Blend from multiple boxes for best results. Installation by a skilled tile installer is recommended.
Variation in edge, surface texture, and tone is natural and expected. No two tiles are alike.
Not recommended for showers or continuously wet areas.
Orders ship based on availability. Made-to-order production takes approximately 8–12 weeks. Lead times are shown at checkout and reflect when your order ships from the warehouse, not including transit time.

TILE USE AND CONDITIONS
- Waterproof
Yes – Appropriate for wet environments, such as steam showers, fountains, and pool areas. Not suitable for shower floors. - Splash-proof
Yes – Perfect for surfaces that encounter moisture, including backsplashes, bathroom walls, and shower walls. - Heat Compatible
Somewhat – Compatible with radiant heating systems and safe for fireplace surrounds and stove backsplashes. Not suitable for direct high-heat contact (e.g., inside ovens or fireboxes). - Freeze/Thaw
No – Not recommended for areas that experience freeze/thaw cycles or are exposed to snow and ice. - Interior Floor
Yes – Designed for indoor use in kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and more. Rated for both light and heavy residential traffic as well as light commercial use. Not suitable for heavy commercial or industrial applications. - Exterior Floor
Yes, with limitations – Appropriate for outdoor areas like patios and terraces in mild climates. Steer clear of environments prone to freezing. - Interior Walls
Yes – Perfect for indoor decorative and functional applications, such as accent walls, sink and stove backsplashes, and bathroom walls. - Exterior Walls
Yes, with limits – it can be used outdoors for facades and retaining walls if not exposed to freeze/thaw conditions.
